Kevin Van Lierop
I am an adult learning & community development leader living in London, Canada.
I hold a Master of Adult Education in Community Leadership from St. Francis Xavier University, a Diploma in Urban Planning from Fanshawe College, and a Bachelor of Education from Western University.
For almost two decades, I was regarded as a community leader, public intellectual and place enthusiast. I led communities in transforming the way they see & inhabit their neighbourhoods and cities. This work culminated in three years of research on the importance of place where I consider how informal learning experiences contribute to the development of community leaders.
These days I aid social-impact organizations, educational institutions, and local governments in designing strategies, programs, and platforms that foster meaningful and engaging learning experiences to support individual, community, and organizational growth.
